Welcome to my quilting blog. My name is Lily. I’m a mother, wife, and I like to quilt. I’ve started quilting in 2008.

I quilt for my family, for gifts, and for pleasure. I really enjoy being able to give a quilt to a special person. I’m very grateful to have found this wonderful hobby and love to share with others.

I’ve never taken a formal quilting class so most of what I know comes from quilting with friends, reading books, and watching other people quilt. Please feel free to join in the conversation. I love to quilt and need some encouragement.

I’m interested in learning new quilting techniques, learning more about the history of quilting and sewing in general, sewing machine care, and sharing information with others.

I’m currently working on my first published pattern. I’ll let you know when it’s available. It’s going to be a very small quilt called ‘Snowman’, designed to keep you and your quilting crew warm. I’m still trying to figure out the binding and will let you know as I learn.

My other interests include sewing, scrapbooking, photography, knitting, crocheting, and baking.
